Letter of recommendation in hand, Brian returned to Nairobi. The skill and experience he brought back became fertile ground for training young engineers in a small workshop back home. Outside the window stretched a night sky far larger and clearer than anything Tokyo had offered. At night, he taught the young people at the workshop "Wimbo wa Mwezi." The same moon, quietly, tied the two countries together.
Author's note
Rather than ending with "success in Japan" as the final word, I wanted to depict carrying what you've learned back home and giving it back to your community as another form of success story. This hidden route is only reachable if you chose to study under Miyashita.
